Chocolate Festival

The Wild Wonderful Chocolate Festival has combined with the Oakhurst Area Chamber of Commerce's Fall Festival event. Thus, the new name is the Oakhurst Fall Chocolate and Wine Festival, which is being held October 11 & 12, 2008, at the Oakhurst Community Park.

We are currently seeking sponsors, vendors, and others for our many competitions. Returning will also be our silent auction and chocolate tent/booth.

King Vintage Museum

The Wild Wonderful King Vintage Museum has been accepting visitors from around the world on a regular basis now at their expanded location next to the Children's Museum of the Sierras on Golden Oak Drive, Oakhurst, California.

The Museum opened in 2002 with a feature exhibit of the Civil War era. In 2005, the museum moved nearer to the Children's Museum of the Sierra and across from the Western Sierra Nursery and the feature exhibit was the Flapper Age. The feature exhibit is changed semi-annually so there is always something new at the museum.

Come and see the Victorian Room with ballroom slippers that date back to 1790, the corset display, and the dresses of the 1800's. Step back in history and learn about the lifestyles of and fashion of the past era and see the beauty of vintage fashion. Learn about the efforts that the museum has taken to preserve the collections for generations to come.
